Casting Terms
Last updated: September 2026
These Casting Terms apply when you submit an application to appear in a production by The Compatibility Room, including SEEN. They are meant to set clear expectations. They are not the full participant agreement; if you are selected to move forward, you will receive separate documents to review before anything is confirmed.
Eligibility
To apply for SEEN, you confirm that you meet the stated requirements:
- Must be 21 or older
- Must currently be single
- Must live in or be able to travel to Southern California
- Must be comfortable appearing on camera
- Must complete the application honestly
- Must agree to the production’s participation requirements
No guarantee of selection
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, participation, or appearance in a published episode. Selected applicants may be contacted for an additional video interview and screening process. Production decisions are made at our discretion and may consider communication style, availability, scheduling, and other factors.
Your submission
You agree that the information in your application is true, accurate, and your own to share, and that you are submitting it voluntarily. You can ask us to delete your application information by emailing casting@thecompatibilityroom.com.
Screening and interviews
If you are considered, we may ask for a short video interview and additional information as part of a standard screening process. Taking part in an interview still does not guarantee casting.
If you are cast
Participation is not confirmed until required documents are signed by both you and the production. Those documents will cover filming logistics, media consent, conduct expectations, and other participation terms. You will have the opportunity to review them before deciding whether to take part.
Respect, safety, and boundaries
Contestants may decline physical contact and may request to skip a question that crosses a stated personal boundary. Respectful participation is required at every stage, and we may end someone’s participation if that expectation is not met.
Concept imagery
Promotional concept visuals may include AI-generated imagery used to communicate the production vision. AI-generated individuals are not actual contestants, and simulated scenes are not presented as real events.
Changes
We may update these Casting Terms as the production develops. The current version will always be posted on this page.
